Graduate education is not something to be undertaken lightly. It requires passion, sacrifice, intelligence, devotion and joy. When these come together in the right proportions, the results are amazing: passionate, devoted scholars with a fire to change the world. My three years at Pratt Institute's School of Information and Library Science gave me opportunities I don't think I would have received anywhere else in research, teaching and service. I grew as scholar, information professional, leader, and person.
