It was in Jessica Hochman's Instructional Technologies class that I was reintroduced to podcasting, the spark that started at the SLA 2009 Annual Meeting reignited.  In a short time, I produced my own podcast, and became comfortable enough with the process to accept an invitation from the instructor to come back to the class and conduct that same workshop for a new group of students.  

It was easy for me to develop the lesson plan and presentation, as I had the work already done from InfoCamp Seattle. The challenge was putting that lesson plan into practice for a group of students, lecturing for four combined hours (two hours over each of two class periods), and work with students from another class in Government Documents who came to the 680 workshop to gain insight for their own podcasting assignment.  I had to remain on my toes and make sure that my content and lectures were not solely directed to the 680 students!  

Based on the work we listened to in class last night from both sets of students, I can say that the lesson was a success and I am grateful for the classroom instruction experience.
